International Labels Chased Me For Four Years – Wizkid Brags [Video]

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun Wizkid has revealed why he signed with RCA in 2017 and ignored other international labels chasing him.

In a throwback interview shared on Instagram by the UK-based music promoter Adesope, Wizkid spoke about signing with RCA back in 2017 and about why he ignored other big labels after him.

Big Wiz said that before signing his RCA deal, he was chased for four years by different international labels, but he chose RCA, among others, because the label understood his vision.

“The international labels chased me for four years to get me signed,” said Wizkid, “until I agreed to RCA because they understood my vision.”
