Listen: Victony Drops His Debut Album, “Stubborn”

Nigerian artist Victony has released his debut album “Stubborn” today.

Featuring Asake, Saint JHN, Shallipopi, amongst others, “Stubborn” has begun Victony’s album journey after multiple EPs that birthed hit songs like “Soweto,” “Kolomental” and “All Power.” According to Victony, the album itself was supposed to be another EP.

“Stubborn” comprises 14 tracks, including the pre-released, Asake-assisted title track (“Stubborn”). The tracks are produced by excellent Afrobeats beat makers, including the legendary Sarz.

Victony gave special thanks to Olamide for being the reason he had released “Stubborn” as an album. In a post on X few days back, he claimed Olamide advised him to ditch the idea of making another EP and consider making an album.
