No Wonder – Reactions As Tiwa Savage Reveals Source Of Inspiration For Her Movie “Water & Garri”
Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has many reacting with “no wonder” to her revelation of where she had drawn the inspiration for her first movie, Water & Garri.
The mother of one said the idea for Water & Garri came when she was drunk. She said this in a press conference to promote the movie, alongside the production members.
She noted that it took two years to produce Water & Garri, and that she was worried initially that her team might throw the idea into the wastebasket.
Reacting to Tiwa’s speech, social media users expressed disappointments in the movie.

Shot in Ghana, Water & Garri was directed by Meji Alabi and it starred actors like Mike Afolarin and Jemima Osunde.
