Ruger Reacts To Wizkid’s Review Of His New Song “Make Way”
Nigerian singer Ruger reacts after his big colleague Wizkid comments on his latest song, “Make Way.”
With many posts on X today, Wizkid shared with his millions of followers that he loves Ruger’s latest song, “Make Way,” and that “that guy [Ruger] is amazing!”
For Wizkid, praises of younger artists’ works and personalities is not a lately-discovered passion. He has repeatedly used his cult-following social media platforms to elevate young Nigerian artists.
To recall one of such moments–back in the year 2022, Wizkid posted about Mavin’s all-star song “Overdose” and praised Magixx, one of the singers. In the next hours after that, the song hit #1 on the chart and Magixx got more visibility to his craft.
Indeed, Wizkid is taken seriously when he speaks. This is why it means a lot to Ruger that Wizkid, with all his affluence, said what he said about him.
His replies to Wizkid are beautiful. In the first reply, he was shocked by the not-so-out-of-the-blue cosign. But in the second, he was emotional and appreciative.
