Adekunle Gold Signs Contract With Def Jam Recordings

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has officially signed a record deal with Def Jam Recordings.

According to Billboard, Adekunle Gold will be releasing his upcoming album in June under Def Jam Recordings, with which he just signed.

Adekunle Gold’s latest single ‘Party No Dey Stop’ (featuring fellow Nigerian artist Zinoleesky) marks his debut for the label.

Before Def Jam, the singer had been running his own business independently, a decision he took when his contract with YBNL expired in 2017.

His last studio album before signing with Def Jam was ‘Catch Me If You Can’. His upcoming album, which is his fifth, will be distributed worldwide under Def Jam.
