Nigerian superstar Wizkid has piqued the interest of many netizens as a video showed him walking by a Paris street, unrecognized by the French.
In a video posted by an X user, Wizkid, who is recognized to a fault in Nigeria and Africa, was walking on a street in Paris, France, with people passing by him and not recognizing him.
As the video showed, clothed in a black armless tee, baseball cap, black shades, oversized jeans and white shoes, Wizkid was leaving a sneakers store into a black car parked nearby, with his escorts.
The people passing along him didn’t seem to recognize who he was. Even though the camera-man recording him shouted out his name “Wizkid!”, nobody looked at the Nigerian star.
The video has caused an exchange of bants between Wizkid’s fans and those of other artists.
