I Share N400 Million To Orphanages Annually – Davido Claims
Music star Davido has revealed that he gives out between 300 million naira and 400 million to orphanages annually.
He said this during his visit to Abuja to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Monday.
Davido, who recently visited his governor uncle (Ademola Adeleke) in Osun state, touched down in Abuja on Monday and paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria’s Senate President.
He was accompanied by his cousins, Folashade Adeleke and Tunji Adeleke, and by some members of his team.
When Akpabio praised David for making Nigerians proud within the International Community, he also gave his words that “we [the ruling party] will do everything possible to support the entertainment industry.”
During their conversation, Davido conveyed to the Senate President about his Foundation’s activities, which mainly focus on providing aid to orphanages.
He also mentioned his upcoming album, scheduled for release in either June or July.
“As for me, I’m doing my part. I have a Foundation. Every year, I share N300million, N400million to orphanages. Just doing my part to assist society. We have a new album coming out in June or July. I just thank you for everything you have been doing for us,” Davido stated.
