Grammy-nominated singer-producer Bloody Civilian has expressed her gratitude to Wizkid for co-signing her, which led to more listeners for her.

Bloody Civilian, who featured on the Black Panther soundtrack, said after Wizkid gave her a co-sign last year (2023), people began discovering her music and recognizing her as an artist.

She talked about this in a recent interview on Cool FM. During the conversation, one of the hosts mentioned that Wizkid had previously given her a shout out, and wanted to know the effect of that.

In response, she said she’s grateful to Wizkid for putting her on, stressing the role of his validation in driving attention her way.
