Rema Sets New Record As ‘Calm Down’ Music Video Hits 200 Million Views In 8 Months
Afrobeats megastar, Rema has just made history by setting new record on YouTube.
On October 14, Rema’s music video for his smash hit ‘Calm Down’ hit 200 million views on YouTube in only 8 months.
‘Calm Down’ is now the fastest music video by an Afrobeats artist to surpass 200 million views on YouTube.
It broke the record set by Davido’s ‘Fall’ music video, which, in 2021, became the first and fastest video by an Afrobeats artist to surpass 200 million views.
Rema celebrated the victory on Twitter with a video of his fans singing energetically along as he performed. He captioned the video, ‘200 million views dance’.
