We Have A History – Simi Opens Up On Relationship With Falz

Popular Nigerian singer Simi has opened up on her relationship with colleague and collaborator, rapper Falz. The beautiful singer, in a fresh interview, admitted that they had a “history.”

Simi and Falz had been rumored multiple times in the past (before her marriage to Adekunle Gold) to be in a romantic relationship, in addition to their frequent music collaborations.

They worked on many songs (and a whole EP!) and scored a number of hits, including “Soldier,” a duet that won them awards, “Foreign,” and so on.

But it was not only the songs, they also often shared loved-up pictures on the net that rendered no help in convincing the public that they’re only music partners.

Speaking recently in an interview, Simi disclosed (the obvious!) that she and Falz shared a strong musical “chemistry,” and then that their closeness was misinterpreted.

She also revealed she and Falz have a single on the way, dropping by the end of May.

She said, “I have one more single coming out at the end of this month. I can’t say the title now but I can tell you who I’m featuring on it. It’s Falz!

“This is interesting because Falz and I have a history. Before I got married, we did an EP and everything. People thought we were dating. We had a couple of songs together and people loved them. They were like, ‘You have a good chemistry.’ So we decided to do a joint EP and we made an EP called ‘Chemistry.’ People really loved it.

“So we want to do something again for the culture. It’s kind of a funny song. I’m excited and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
